Robotics Workshop Blackrock Education Centre
This interactive session introduces teachers to how Robotics may be integrated into Engineering, DCG or Technology classes. There is a particular focus on the technology that controls these robots - Genie Control Boards. The Genie E18 is a powerful, but cost-effective, programmable micro controller. It uses Genie flowchart programming software that enables students to learn programming constructs in a practical way. Participants will also learn of the EA Robot Games Ireland competition to be held in Dublin Castle in May 2016 and will have the opportunity to register their students to take part in this competition, which will form part of the EXCITED Digital Learning Festival.
